The apartment is located right next to a forest, which deeply influenced its concept. The project is based on thoughtful material pairings, gentle contrasts, and a clear, functional layout. The aim was to use only natural components, with no imitations, even within a set budget. The materials—natural oak flooring and veneers—form a consistent dialogue with the wooded surroundings. Greens were added as neutral, foundational tones, while accents of red, from soft pinks to coral oranges, introduce vibrancy and character. Upon entry, the hallway is bathed in beige, with a travertine floor and hidden doors, creating a calm, monolithic atmosphere. The living space begins with two asymmetrical walls that structure the passage and introduce spatial rhythm. These walls are covered in glossy coral mosaic, shimmering gently in the light. Opposite the front door, a lime-colored glow from a wall sconce plays on the surface, further softening the entrance experience.
The kitchen is designed as a fluid, sculptural composition, seamlessly blending volumes and materials with the day zone. A teak island, topped with bold green marble, contrasts elegantly with a steel cabinet. A coral-toned cylinder adds rhythm and energy, while the whole setup highlights material honesty and spatial clarity.
Extending from the kitchen, the living area is organized into two functional zones: dining and lounge. The dining space features a vintage Bruno Rey table from the 1970s, complemented by a diagonal marble slab emerging from the wall and a soft, sculptural silk lamp suspended above. In the lounge area, a large, green sofa by Tamo sits vis-a-vis the veneered built-ins — a shallow continuation of the kitchen. The furnishings soften the geometric forms with organic touches— a rounded-edge coffee table, a ovoid armchair, and a spiral kilim framed in silver. Throughout the space, natural greens are balanced with bold reds and oranges, seen in woven art pieces and translucent rust-colored curtains, reinforcing the palette and spatial atmosphere.
In contrast to the vibrant common spaces, the bedroom offers a calming escape, enveloped in monochromatic green from walls to ceiling. Beige-green curtains, khaki bedding, and vintage olive nightstands create a cozy atmosphere, with a mosaic headboard that fades into burgundy marble baseboards as a singular statement. The bathroom continues this calm with beige tones and a teak–red–green marble vanity as its focal point. A travertine shower partition subtly divides the space, reinforcing the apartment's balance between natural materiality and quiet elegance.
